Organic paradise

Textile, Installation

Dimension variable

Views of the "Psychodrome" exhibition, where a number of textile sculptures feature hybrid bodies. This organic garden, with its naïve appearance, can provoke a feeling of unease linked to the shapes and textures evoking sexual organs. However, the search for the complementary of feminine and masculine principles may also be an invitation to move beyond the carnal to experience the spiritual through the embodied body. The color pink reinforces this ambivalence of attraction-repulsion.

It stimulates the viewer's need to touch. Touch as an act of recognition and connection to oneself and to the world in an age when relationships are tending towards virtualisation.
